It’s overflowing with corporate cool 😎 Courtesy of our FTSE x pop culture crush Omar Abbosh. It turns out Pearson’s CEO is not only a tech bro spearheading the modernisation of the FTSE 100 educator, he is also the pal and podcast co-host of superstar will.i.am. Mr Abbosh has only been on the job for 18 months but I gotta feeling he is going to pump it especially with the board and team he has✨💪
As for Informa, their IRO Richard Menzies-Gow is a dead ringer for a young Richard E Grant. So, combine this with Cannes, you can probably understand how our TEA brains 🧠 made the link to cult favourite Saltburn. Informa’s AGM may be on the Riviera this year to coincide with the Cannes Lions Festival, which is now their biggest event following their £1.2bn acquisition of Ascential, but based on their record results, it’s unlikely that CEO Stephen A Carter and team have been swanning 🦢
